A buyer’s guide to monitors for work and play

Choose a monitor by the work it needs to do. A spreadsheet-focused display and a gaming display can have very different priorities.

Resolution and size

Higher resolution improves text and workspace, but operating-system scaling and graphics performance matter too. Check pixel density rather than assuming bigger is better.
