Scoutly website and extension privacy
This policy covers the Scoutly website and the Scoutly Price Scout Chrome extension. It explains what each product processes and the controls available to you.
Scoutly website
The website does not require an account. “Track this price” creates a local shortlist in your browser using local storage. Saved product names, reference prices and Scoutly page links stay on that device unless you clear browser data. The current feature is a return shortlist, not an automatic email or push alert.
Scoutly uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated, anonymized page-view information such as which Scoutly pages are visited and broad technical context. It is configured without analytics cookies. Internal /go/ redirect page views help Scoutly count movement from a guide to a retailer without putting personal details in the URL.

Scoutly Price Scout extension
When you click the extension icon on a shopping page, the extension may read the displayed product title, price, currency, product identifiers, product image, page URL and website hostname. It uses this information to identify the item and request source-backed comparison candidates from Scoutly's configured comparison service and connected retailer sources.
Extension watch items are stored in Chrome storage on your device. Product information required for a requested comparison may be sent to Scoutly's service and connected retailer APIs. Scoutly does not sell or rent this information.
Information Scoutly does not seek
Scoutly does not seek passwords, payment-card details, checkout form contents or private messages. The extension is designed to inspect the active product page only after the user invokes it.
Affiliate links and third parties
Marked retailer buttons may pass through EarnKaro or another disclosed affiliate provider. The retailer and affiliate provider apply their own privacy practices after you leave Scoutly. Scoutly's internal redirect pages do not add your email address, phone number or Scoutly watchlist to the outbound URL.
Retention and deletion
Website and extension watch items remain in local browser storage until you remove them or clear that storage. Uninstalling the extension removes its locally stored data according to Chrome's storage behaviour. Use the control above to stop future Scoutly site analytics on this device.
