How to compare running shoes online
Running shoes are personal equipment. A good online comparison reduces uncertainty, but fit still needs a generous return policy.
Identify the use case
Daily road running, gym work, trail use, and walking call for different outsole and cushioning choices. Compare the exact model and generation, not just the brand family.
Measure consistently
Use the manufacturer’s size chart and measure both feet late in the day. Read reviews for recurring fit patterns, but do not treat one reviewer’s size as universal.
Check returns
Verify whether worn shoes can be returned, who pays shipping, and whether the seller is authorized. The cheapest pair is not a saving if the fit cannot be corrected.
